Fundraiser money is due on Wednesday the 17th for the $10 Tiger Cards.

MATH

We will be working on rounding, estimating and reviewing addition/subtraction of larger numbers and decimals with Chapter 3.

WORD STUDY

We will be taking notes over easily misspelled and confused basic Core Words. Students will also have a dictation test where they are allowed to proofread all work BEFORE it is handed in using their spelling dictionaries and notes!!  Accuracy is the GOAL!

i-Time

Last week we worked on reading fluently. Students read several poems and practiced oral reading with good expression. We are really enjoying i-TIME! We also finished out first read-aloud book last week and will begin The Tale of Despereaux (to be released as a movie this December!!)
