This is my 31st year of teaching in the Willard RII District. I have taught Kindergarten, Transition from 1st to Kdg, 3rd grade, and sixth grade, in addition to my current position as 5th grade Math and Word Study teacher.

My family includes my husband, two sons, and daughter-in law! We had a wonderful summer beginning with my son’s  (Blake) trip to Hawaii with the Willard Band and my oldest son’s (Chris) wedding!

My hobbies include reading and writing. I enjoy reading many kinds of books. Some of my favorite authors include Max Lucado, John Grisham, Mary Higgins Clark, Tedd Decker and Karen Kingsbury. I also enjoy working with preschoolers in Sunday School and writing curriculum for LifeWay for kindergarten Sunday School teachers.

I enjoy teaching 5th graders! I especially love seeing “the light bulb come on” when understanding of a concept dawns on a student!
